STBD stands for Source, Test, Build, Documentation
We propose a technique for characterizing developer behaviour and focus around events such as major releases, minor releases or milestones.
By breaking down revisions into four categories:
- Documentation We can quickly and easily reason about development histories.
- "Release Pattern Discovery: A Case Study of Database Systems", by Abram Hindle, Michael W. Godfrey, Richard C. Holt. Accepted to Proc. of the 2007 Intl. Conference on Software Maintenance (ICSM-07), to be held 2-5 October 2007 in Paris, France. [Acceptance rate: 41/214 or 21% for full papers]
- "Release Pattern Discovery via Partitioning: Methodology and Case Study", by Abram Hindle, Michael W. Godfrey, Richard C. Holt. Proc. of 2007 Intl. Workshop on Mining Software Repositories (MSR-07), to be held May 19-20, 2007 in Minneapolis. [Acceptance rate: 15/39 for full papers, or 38%] Slides.
